Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to announce the arrival of our latest attraction: Ankylosaurus. This shy, reclusive herbivore, is guaranteed to delight nature lovers. Please enjoy.

Ankylosaurus is one of the dinosaurs that can defend itself. It can't be attacked by small predators, but it can get into death duels with Tyrannosaurus. It is based on its appearance in Jurassic Park III.

Behavior[]

Ankylosaurus are fond of being in herds to protect themselves, however, if you have many in a tight spot and something scares them, they bump into each other. Ankylosaurus likes to live in valleys or plains and dine on ferns. They're slow moving dinosaurs and can get scared if there are too many dinosaurs around, it's easy to move with the muster tool so you can herd it into its enclosure without one running away.

It can kill most large carnivore without getting very injured.

It behaves very much like Stegosaurus, so you might want to put them together.

Trivia[]

  • Ankylosaurus is one of only three Herbivores whose friend dinosaur is their own species, the others being Gallimimus and Dryosaurus. This is due to having no close relatives in game.
  • It is one of if not the most durable dinosaur in the game, being able to take more than three hits from large carnivores and surviving.
  • Like Stegosaurus and Kentrosaurus, if Ankylosaurus is panicking and other herbivores are near it while its swinging its tail, it can deal damage to them.
